<3 Aug 2009> ChatNFiles bbs is in transition to a
"registration based" system. This means you have to
register and logon to the system to access various features
like the downloads. As part of this transition the
"Raw Directory Browse and Downloads" access is being
suspended. Depending on the final design it may
return. Mean while you can still access the downloads
(with certain limitations) via the
File Transfer Protocol
(FTP) Server. |

The files with descriptions system will have to be re-built after the file
server has been reloaded.

.: Files Downloads
There is now 1 kind of server available for
downloads from here. The FTP server provides both anonymous
downloads and registered user access so I can do uploads as well
as file maintenance. It also limits anonymous downloaders to 2 or
3 connections from the same IP address.
I am not certain if Google will be able to
continue indexing the website via FTP or not.
